About Warickshire

The county of Warwickshire is situation in the West Midlands area of the United Kingdom with a population of around 740'000.  

There are a number of famous towns within the county of Warwickshire including the springs at Leamington, Stratford on Avon and King's Newnham; with the addition of some beautiful canals and great railways, the whole of Warwickshire is a reat place to spend time.

In 1642 Kineton in southern Warwickshire saw the first battle of the First English Civil War.  

The three battlefields are now part of a brilliant 20 mile walk which has been setup called The Three Battlefields Trail.  

This trail links Edgehill, Cropedy Bridge and Edgcot which you can understand through interpretation panels at each end of the battlefields.
